Enchanting in 1.8

So in the new update Minecraft reworked enchanting by adding lapis as a required item for enchanting and also adding the ability to be able to tell what enchantment you are going to get. So even though it does not happen to often you are able to enchant in MCSG. But hows this going to change in 1.8? As of now the sponsor item enchant bottle does not give you a whole level so i do think that instead of having 2 bottles we up it to 3. But how would we obtain lapis? I have though of a few ways.

1: When you kill a player they drop one lapis
2: Lapis is available in chests on a limited basis (like diamond rarity)
3: Add lapis as a sponsor item
4: When chests refill make 3 lapis fall from the sky onto the people at the corn

These are some ideas that could be used. I'm not 100% sure if lapis is required to enchant but I'm pretty sure.
