Bounty glitch MCSG

I post this because yesterday I saw a group of 3 ppl in MCSG (some skype friends) with 200k points, 400k and 2 million points (I am not sure of the last one).

At first they told me they killed a famous person that had this as bounty, but immediately I realized this was impossible. So after asking them lots of times they recognized this is a point glitch in MCSG. It seems that they are the only 3 people in the world that know this, and they told me they are never telling anyone. So I wanted to ask 2 questions, 1 for anyone that knows it and the 2nd one to the staff of MCSG.

1.- Can this people be banned for doing this? (It's a bug of a plugin on MCSG, it's not a hack or mod)

2.- Do the staff team know about this bug? (This post is pretty much for telling them)

PD: I am not revealing my friend's name in case they can get banned, it won't be difficult for you to find them, though.

The staff has been aware of this problem. If you'd like to help us fix this, we would appreciate as much information as you may have pertaining to those who have exploited the bug, or about how the bug occurs.

Col_StaR I can help you in it. But could you maybe tell me about the punishment of doing this: can you get banned / kicked or something for exploiting the glitch? Or as it's a glitch that doesn't need any external programs or mods it's not against the rules and you can't get banned?

First of all, rule #9 from the General Rules section states the following:

9. Do not exploit bugs or glitches: We want to the servers to be the best that it can be and if a bug or glitch is spotted, report it to staff privately ASAP.
....

• Using a bug or glitch to your advantage is not allowed.
• Refusing to tell staff about a bug or glitch is not allowed.
• Spreading the information about a bug or glitch to non-staff is not allowed.

....

As such, points boosting by exploiting a glitch is very much against the rule, and as such is subject to having the user's points reset to 100 in addition to a ban.

This happened again? I remember there was a glitch like that last year and I'd see people with like 70 million points. xD
