In that thread, xDarkMC has shared their WONDERFUL Minecraft Story, in their thread, they say why they play Minecraft, when they did it, and how they got attached to MCSG, I really enjoyed this thread, what's your Minecraft story? Why do you play, and what keeps you within this community?
It was a snowy December Morning, (Just like any other morning here in Canada, in my area.) I had created a server hosted by my laptop, it slowed down my internet, but I am much more educated than my friends who requested I made one, I hadn't had a Minecraft account, just the server. I had given my friends the server IP, and they played for days, I finally decided to get a Minecraft account myself, the conversation with my parents went a little like this...
Me: "Hi mom, can I-"
Mom: "no."
I have a bank account, I could've bought it myself, except for one... little... issue... I didn't have a bank account that could connect to any online services...
I went to my grandmas house the next day, my friend was their, she works at the bank, I went over, and visited her, she said yes, she can give me one of the new Bank Accounts and Cards that work the same as credit cards, she just needed me to "lose" my bank card, I was done. I magically lost it in the trash that very second.... I wonder where it went... We went to the bank, and she asked me if I wanted the "Magic Touch" thing, I said sure. It was done, she gave me the card, and I went home.
I connected and activated the card and instantly made the Minecraft Account, I had made the username GetRidaHim because my Parkour teacher came up with it, and I though it was really cool, because my Real Name, is of course... Rida....
After having this account for a good couple of months, I finally joined an SMP, without knowing what it was. I was so happy, I had made so many new friends using the SMP, and even though it was shortly cancelled, I had the friends anyways. (I sound like such a loner. Don't worry, I had IRL friends... xD) My main friend is RageMistGFX, or Kally, she is my friend to this day, and I met a couple more people... Shoutout to Boss, Ty, and Varial, thanks for showing my what MCSG is, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you, and would've been doing something crazy, like playing outside right now.
