Recently i have been having a problem with chunks rendering
This problem is that they sort of... dont...
I can see other players and sometimes other entities, but the blocks thenselves dont render
i end up wandering around an invisible world and get murdered :(
It also makes me look like an x-ray hacker apparently as ive been accused multiple times as to other people, it looks like I am grinding my way along walls towards the nearest player :L

It happens to lots of us :/
For me, when I play on Tiny I get Chunk glitches, allowing me to see players from further away. It's not really a hack, I mean, you could just turn on far..
If you can't see the actual terrain, try mining a block and the chunk should load.

Chunk errors, if you get it too frequently try and lower your settings, it may be also lag between you and the server. Optifine has an option that fixes this most of the time, I reccommend installing it if you can.

Optifine helps a lot if you want to install a mod to help it a bit...If you already use optifine, though, all I can recommend is to set the settings as low as you can and see what happens...as a side question: Do you get any "out of memory" Minecraft crashes? Because I may be able to help if that's the case. (That would mean your game has too little memory to run the game, such as in areas with many vines, causing your chunks to not load properly, followed by a crash. It's the same issue I had on my old computer, I know how to fix it provided you are on a 64 bit operating system.)

Even on tiny render with optifine I get it. Sometimes computers just don't want to load chunks.

Do any of you guys find that braking a block in one of the invisible chunks triggers that chunk to load?
But nothing else, just the chunk with the block in.

Very rarely i get an out of memory error, thats usually when i have heavier stuff in the background but that shouldn't affect me since i've assigned an entire 2GB of my 8GB ram to run minecraft! and somehow my performance still sucks

Well, it used to happen to me. When I was looking for optimal settings for FPS speed I had it on tiny render. I changed my render to normal/short (optifine settings) and my chunk loading settings, it fixed. Don't be afraid to fiddle around with chunk loading and performance settings, they can be reset you know. :)

Try actually lowering dedicated RAM to the minium requirement, it's a rare case but people do find that dedicating too much then is needed actually messes up Minecraft like the problems you've mentioned.

My brother set 3 gb of RAM to Minecraft. It completely screwed it. He changed it to 1gb and it made so much of a difference.
