We got a Knew G33ke here. what's he gonna say to this?Chasing depends on the reason. If you're going to chase somebody who has the most points in a game, then you're doing it wrong. If you're going to chase somebody who has an item that you absolutely need to advance yourself in the game, or you're one more kill away from deathmatch, then you have the right idea.
People have the right to do whatever strategy they want in game. (Unless you're hacking you cheating noobs. -_-) If you're going to chase somebody for no reason, it's not like you can't do it. It's just an extremely stupid strategy to use, since you're not advancing yourself in game, and what are you gonna earn out of it? 300 points that you're just gonna lose anyway? It's basically giving up the chance to win a game, which would be much more rewarding in itself rather than getting something that nobody will really care about.
Then on the opposite side of the spectrum you have runners. Like I said, they can do it, but believe it or not it's probably a worse strategy than chasing. Unless you know in your mind you can absolutely not kill the person chasing you in any way, then you can run. But if you have decent gear, and you're kind of equal with the guy running after you, you're only limiting yourself on what you can do. Cause after a long time of running you're going to get hungry and you're going to need to stop, and that person will get a bunch of hits on you. Where if you turned around, prepared yourself, and attacked, you would have a much larger chance than if you just kept running.
In conclusion, people can do whatever the heck they want in game. Whether it be running like a Cheetah, or chasing like a madman, they can do it. It's just widely considered to be a dumb strategy except for those who do it. Most points that PLG brought up here I can agree with, and I hope that most new players will realize that maybe it isn't a bad thing to NOT go after the guy with the most points.

This. People can make long posts besides G33ke, and for reasons other than trying to emulate G33ke. People who make long posts do so because they have opinions they wish to express. Kind of wish that long posts would be viewed as that: an opinion in it's own right, with a valid argument and counter argument, rather than a 'G33ke post'. The tendency with these kind of posts I feel, is for people not to comment on the actual material, but rather just make a comment on the length of the post, and a reference to G33ke. This is not the way things should be done. Long posts should spark more discussion, not act as the final word in a conversation. Allowing a long post to completely dominate a discussion due purely to the fact that it is long is wrong.Lol. I'm not trying to be like G33ke. If I need to make a post to express everything I want to say in the most logical way possible, it's got to be long.![]()
