I disagree with you saying that there aren't very many hackers. Personally, I run into VERY MANY hackers on a regular basis, lately with this new aimbot, I've been struggling greatly trying to kill them. Before this it was easier.

If you're finding hackers, it's not that hard to report them or tell a moderator on the spot. I still respect your points though, and keep in mind both of our MCSG experiences differ. You may see hackers, I don't.

Right, the only reason I can't poke mods now is because I have no mic for TS.... So once I get one, things will change, but still, dem hackers....

Blamph touched on this in a new video of his. He claims that there's a new super-efficient aimbot about, that almost never misses a punch, but is very obvious. I agree, we need new mods. I know that the mods are doing all they can, but I don't understand why several new mods can't be added. Will apps take too long to review? Or does the staff truly think that we have enough people at the moment. No hate on current mods of course, your all awsome except on the count to 500 before staff post thread... But we do need some more people out activly looking. We need people actually searching around for the hackers, not just having people happening to notice a hacker with a running camera.
Obviously we don't all too many new mods, but just adding 5 - 10 new people, and having the mods more activly looking for hackers, more could get done.
Of course re-opening apps would bring in lots to look through... I know that alot of the posts tend to be "I'm good @ the survvial games. I wanna stop hackers. My IGN is XxJesus9001xX thank you!!!11!!1!!1!!" But other than that, many apps are serious and take quite some time to review, and then of course interviews take place. I suggest activly asking certain people who are obviously mature on the forums and play alot (i.e. Zeno) to post an app, or just activly scouting the community for possible mod-figures. Having a pre-determined idea of who could be a good mod could halp move the process along.
I also think staff should make a post explaining in detail about how to catch hackers and good programs and post it to the home page, simply to get the message out there. Post a general message explaining general hacker issues, how to post a correct report abuse and ect. I know the staff is very busy, but simple things such as these could greatly decrease the amount of hackers around, and greatly improve the knowledge of the community on the subject, so we get less "HACKERR!!!1!" threads scattered in mismatched locations.

You summed up what I was gonna say.

Okay, the whole hacker situation has gotten WAYY WAY WWWAAYY out of hand. There needs to be new mods, we need to raise awareness of hackers, or something. It's seriously ridiculous. At least 70 % percent of the games I've played in the last 3 days. I have died to a hacker. I'm not exaggerating either, it's just crazy. I'll go 10 games some days dying just to hackers, and not even win. Something has to be done because I'm on the breaking point now.
I don't even try to catch hackers anymore. I just turn bandicam on, jump onto a server to spec and BAM! I now have footage of a hacker. I wish I was joking too. I've actually done this a few times.

MJM239 I would have once agreed with you wholeheartedly, but since the removal of NC+, I have seen an absolutely insane level of hackers. I am only able to record a fraction of the hackers I see, but I see one at least every few matches. However, like plg pointed out: we knew this would happen when NC+ was removed/tweaked, and we still begged for it. And personally, I abide by what I said then, it was still the right thing to do. Yes, there are many more hackers these days (no one can deny that) but we can deal with them.

However, with this increase of hackers, there is an increased level of responsibility required both for moderators and regular players. With NC+, we were able to kick back and ignore the few hackers there were at that point, but we can no longer do so. There are more hackers now, and people need to actively work at catching them; it is the duty if each and every member of these servers. The moderators are working as hard as they can (for the most part, though they are human, and they do have lives), yet they cannot do everything alone. People may ask for more moderators - and, off topic, I agree this would be beneficial - but in the end, it is up to each and every player to be a moderator in their own rights, just without the fancy red name and banning ability. Record if you see a hacker, and if you are killed by one, don't just rage and move on to another server. Follow them, record if you can, and let a mod know. This is by far the most important thing any regular player can do: letting a mod know. You don't have to be able to record, nor to have friends in high places. All you have to do is get on TeamSpeak and poke a mod the name of the hacker and the server they are on. The moderators are obligated to help you, or to find another mod who can. But they cannot do their work without you. Everyone is required to work for the betterment of this community if we want the levels of hackers to decrease.

Today i came up behind someone crafting a diamond sword, the SECOND i hit him he starts hitting me with his back turned to me. I still killed him but it was super obvious, he even had sprint particles .. but this is the only time ive seen someone hack in the past 20 or 25 games ive played, so im not too outrageous about it

Someone should create a thread where we list all the hackers to watch out for
