Hello everyone, this is my MCSG story!
One day around April I was on Skype with my friend Picklefrg123. At that point in time the Hunger Games came out, so I was fascinated with the series. So then him and I went on talking and stuff. He brought up a map that was made by Varaide, and it was Hunger Games! I was surprised, I mean really, a Hunger games in Minecraft? How cool is that! I later learned that this was not called Hunger games, it’s Survival games, a little concept from the Hunger Games, but anyway back to the story.
Pickle and I would play on his server with the map, it was kinda boring. So we looked for servers. I was sitting down, bored as heck, when I heard Pickle say something about Survival Games at that point I was like this could be fun I guess. So we tried it out, I thought it was kinda weird at first, and every once and a while Pickle and I would play, so would Horrorpain and Mineshift120. We had a lot of fun, we pretended to be the characters from Hunger Games, at this point the servers were getting a little more interesting.
We then were starting to play a little bit more, I would get mad, Pickle would get mad, Mineshift120 would get mad, you get it. I had MANY encounters with hackers, but I never got any of them banned because I never knew there was a Survival games website, and remember at this point, it was early beta. As time went on we had a lot of fun, but things are just getting started.
I remember I would make teams of 6 and stand at corn with nothing, and then some guy with a sword kills us all, pretty sad huh? One day me and Pickle got on, and we noticed our points were at 100 again, we were so confused on what happened and then we found out that everything just reset, we only have like 15 wins anyway so we didn't really care.
Remember I cant really remember much from back then so bare with my here XD. Me and my friends started adding people on skype and teaming with them, it was strange, pretty much what we did is we would look for the person with the most points and then ask them to skype team, and that's how I met zeejayy, long story short me and Pickle double teamed him secretly, and then zeejayy and I just hit it off from there! (Some people might remember us from are betrayals) And then we just stopped teaming on skype with random people, but then one day we met a hacker on skype, I ended the call right away and deleted him, so then he followed us and killed us three with his hacks (Oh and I was playing with Pickle and Mineshift123) so then Pickle recorded him and we didn't know what to do, so then I guess we ended up finding the MCSG website and we had no clue what we were doing.
We found that there was a TeamSpeak, so we looked for the ip and we found it, but for some reason we thought that we had to be 15 to get into the TeamSpeak, haha. I looked at all the Ts channels and saw that zeejayy was hanging in one of the channels, and I was like "He ain't 15!" so then Pickle uploaded the video and sent it to a mod on TS, I don't think anything happened to the hacker though, we didn't know how to use report abuse either so, we didn't get to far.
Another day I was playing with a friend, not sure who it was but it might have either been Picklefrg123 Tobucus34 or someone else, not sure though, I'm sure some of you guys know who Eborec is, we ended up playing a game together on map one and he killed me and my friend with his teammate, I thought I knew Ebo's friend so they invited me to skype, we ended up talking for a while and then they brought up something called the "Cyan Volts" and how I could apply for it. At this point I had no clue that there were any teams what so ever, so then they told me to create a MCSG account on the forum and make a application.
So I did end up getting accepted into the clan, so did Pickle since I told him to apply. Then one day they told me about another clan called the "Blamph's" I didn't know who they were at all so I just went with it, they tell me to join a server I joined it, we fought and there was some good battles we had between the Blamph's, but there was to much tension between the two teems, so I left. From around the point I left things went down for the clan, I'm not saying on the WHOLE reason for all of that, I really had nothing to do with it, I just left, and then a lot of other people left too, and then I think they just closed down the thread for the clan, I'm not sure what really happened but I really didn't care much.
Shortly after that the Blamph's closed down too, or is it the opposite? Not sure what clan closed down first, lot's of drama that's all I gotta say! At this point I was pretty active on TS, it was fun getting to know people, too. On October 22th 2012 I reached #1 on the US leader boards and passed up zeejayy. At that time I had like 420 wins and I was trying to get far as I could away from zeejayy in wins, and that I did, I held #1 for a some time, until around December when I got passed up by a guy named "HickaLits" and at that point I didn't really care about wins, everything kinda just died off for me, from around that point in time I only played to have fun.
I remember when NoCheatPlus had all it's glitches, I'm pretty sure everyone can remember that :\ It got to the point where I just wanted to quit so badly, I'm pretty sure I quit like two times but came back. I think at one point in time there was a unbearable amount of lag on the servers too, nasty. A long time after NPC got fixed up and it was amazing, things always seem to get better with MCSG. Now I'm just waiting for MCSGv2, that seems fun. I've experienced so much playing on MCSG it's awesome, I'm grateful for all the great friends I've met in this amazing community! Anyways, I'm really tired right now so I cant think of most of the things that have happen to me on MCSG. I'm happy to share this with anyone who would spend there time to read it XD
