Flint&Steel Tier 1's

As most of us know, Flint&Steel is a very powerful tool. It's a huge game changer, and for it to be in tier 1's is a bit crazy. This would make a lot of people have Flint&Steel, and it wouldn't have you making decisions such as
"I have 2 iron, flint, and a feather, should i make a iron sword? Or maybe flint&Steel in case theres a team. I could also you the flint for some arrows to get extra hits in case they run away"
I know people still have to make these decisions, its just a lot less likely due to how high of a chance it is for you to get flint&steel out of a chest. Flint&Steel out of tier 2's seemed to be a perfect balance of it
Let me know what you guys think about it

I think it's fine in tier ones. Flint and steel can be counteracted if you act quickly, in fact they are opening themselves up to further attack if they turn around to use it.

It doesn't seem too common and is still a rather under-used item in my opinion. I don't think it should be changed.

I was on breeze and I had 5 fns, the team I was against had 11 combined. We lit up the whole corn, and I ended up dieting because I kept lagging back -_-

Flint and steel is actually quite nerfed now in that fires can be put out, so I think it's perfectly fair. Now what I did read is that when you do that and go back the spot it was, you get lit on fire, something I learned the hard way last night. That should be fixed, though.

I would like it in tier 1's, if it was alot more rare in it though, sorta similar to diamonds in tier 2's, at the end of games i always end up with about 8 flint&steels

Why are you bummed about that? That's awesome.

And even if you think otherwise, then it's easy to just throw them out.

I don't think it should be in tier 1. In fact I kind of think the only way to get it should be through crafting.
I use it more than its used on me so its not like I want it nerfed cuz im sick of dying from it. I just think it needs to be harder to get..

I think it being available through tier 2's only struck a good balance. If it was integral to your PvP style, you could craft it earlier, and if not, you could get lucky and find one in a chest. Now, however, there is no 'specialness' to flint and steel. It is found absolutely everywhere, making it so everyone has at least 3 sets, and turning every fight into a firefight (where none of the fire actually disappears). It simply does not work with flint and steel in tier 1's.
