Next Gen Strategy's

Hey guys thought I'd make a thread where people can put their own unique strategy's that they never see anyone else using. I go two:

1) while in water if you can get the right angle (easy when practiced) fishing rod yourself forwards for a boost

2) Shooting yourself with arrows by shooting into the air to kill yourself, you keep your points. Because you know, we needs those points for sponsoring the noobs flint and steel's and watching them burn themselves.

Now i know a lot of people will put tactics down that everyone uses so try have a think about it before you post. the type of strategy's can go from; escape routes on certain maps to just a faster way to sort your inventory.

I love fishing myself, i feel like I have gone into Einstein mode, getting the 'perfect' trajectory and all. xD

if you're stuck in a 2 block deep hole. turn your back to the exit above, throw a fishing rod in the air walk back a bit then jump and the rod should hit you, boost you another block and since it's hitting you from an angle, it should make you go on way. legit way to get out of a hole without block glitching (bad).

If the Corn is the right shape (I know this works on breeze I do it all the time) you can get the perfect position behind a chest so when someone comes from a certain direction you can hit them without them hitting you. I had barely any hearts and I killed b1gtub by doing this. If you get a good angle they just can't hit you.

seems very interesting, could you get a screenshot of the angle with maybe a friend where the enemy must be? this sounds like a decent tactic

I don't know if this is used widely or not but I usually have my quick bar something like this:

1st slot: Sword
2nd slot: Bow
3rd slot: Flint n Steel
4th slot: Fishing rod
5th slot: Golden apples.
6th slot: Backup sword.
The rest of the slots are my food items.

If you have a fishing rod and your enemy doesn't, he runs into water and swims forever, use your fishing rod on yourself it boosts you towards him(Not 100% confirmed).

Note: You have to shoot your fishing rod a little ahead of you so it hits you while you swim towards him.

I'm actually the same, except no backup sword and my fishing rod is second, just because i like the whole hit with rod then sword, always works
