It's a shame that you can't see who died though. Especially if it's a team or something, you can't tell if your teammate died unless you TAB after each death.

I think it brings an atmosphere of suspense when you don't know who's dying. It builds up a feeling that someone is going around killing someone and you don't know how far they are. It could be you next.

The thing is that if you know who's teaming with who, then you know that team is dead.

However, with the cannon thing, you have to rely on how often the lightning strikes. If it strikes too many times in a short period, then someone's overpowered or a team just had a battle royale.
