Can't win because of bad connection

I have a 1 bar connection to all these servers, so it's extremely hard to win. I can usually kill someone with weaker stuff than me, but the only way I kill someone with better stuff than me is if I either get the first hits/sneak attack/get arrows in them first.

Any advice?

If you're lagging and someone is about to go after you, just turn around and run, and when you get a good chance turn around and get the first hit. (PWNED .......Most of the time)

Ya I usually run until they turn around and give up then stalk them until they get in a corner in which I can trap them. I lf they have worse/equal stuff I just go for it, but with the lagg I usually die either way

I suggest killing people with weaker stuff than you, or get the first hit/sneak attack/ get arrows in them first.

is there noticeable lagg in game then? because the minecraft connection bit is so unreliable i've found.

I have 1 bar in connection and I know I can destroy almost 2 blocks of sand before it respawns

If I hit say a pig, it takes like a second to a second and 3/4s for it to registr the hit

Depending on where you live, you might get some lag.

Yes i know it's because I don't live in an urban area and I use satellite Internet, which sucks. So am I just screwed until I get century link, which may never come?
