So I haven't played in a while and I just decided to get on. At first, it was OK (because I was playing in the morning when there were less people), but then I kept getting reminded why I stopped playing some time ago. If you don't pay, you're not going to play in the later hours of the day. I keep getting kicked. I thought they kicked who was the last person to log on for donors, but even when I seem to be one of the first people getting on to the server (and am almost finished the tree parkour), I get kicked. It's not possible to get on, it's ridiculous. So, even though it's fun, I can't play MCSG without getting super stressed out over getting kicked from a server (That's why I like Project Ares, you don't get kicked). And even though people will say "Oh, become a donor then, " Some people don't have parents who will pay for them to play a video game (The Minecraft account came from my Grandma), especially if it's supposed to be free. The game is just not playable anymore, unless you pay.

Eww a rant. TL;DR, but I know that if I did read it, I would be bleeding out of my eyeballs right now

Let me start off by saying, you chose the worst day to join back... Although there's tons of new features, there's tons of bugs along with those features. They're currently working out those bugs, and they should be fixed, soon. But regarding the donations, there's threads like these all over the forums, they're ignored. There's donors for a reason, and that reason is to help the server stay running. Let's face it, the majority of Donors donate for their feature to kick & remove users from the games, to go in with their friends. Although there may be the small percentage of people who donate to help the server stay running, like myself.

Without donations, the server would be beyond hard to run, no matter the owners economical state. 30 servers, so you think, keep in mind there's tons of region servers, if you do the math correctly, that's about 76 servers. Oh you think it's done? You forgot the Creative/Tekkit server. These are quite expensive to run. (If I give a ruff estimate) Either way, those who support the server, and help it keep it running, get rewarded. This gives them simply an -easier- chance at getting into games. This is a lot more fair then if they allowed us to, I don't know, spawn in kits? Think of it from that point of view.

TL;DR - Donors help run the server, they get rewarded.

That's all.

As I have said many times, it's not normally hard to avoid kicking at all. But now it is a donorfest and there are too many donors. My Internet was down for maintenance so I don't have firsthand experience, but just wait a little bit.

Actually that is a known bug and the developers are working to fix it. Worst day to join back man xD

I understand your perspective with the whole donor kicking system, and we apologize if you're having issues getting ingame, but donors do receive these features because they help us keep the community running.
As Chad posted with the MCSGv2 thread, we will be adding more servers once we iron out all kinks with the system. It's inevitable that new systems may encounter some issues (especially software compatibility as we so loved earlier today), but everything is rolling smoothly now.

We will be opening more servers in each location soon after we work out the major bugs with MCSGv2 so we aren't playing the "donor games". :p
