Honestly... Teamers haven't been that bad to me lately. If anything they can be easier to take down than one person.

Now this is where something smart gets into play. Whenever I get chased by someone relentless, I try to divert them. For instance, intentionally running into someone of higher power so the team focuses on that one person instead of me. In this case, you should've lured them to that team of 2.

Actually, that's one strategy I like to use, but it doesn't always work.

I feel like people post on this thread to shove their opinion in my face and say I'm wrong.

Good videos though.
I'm not trying to insult you. My point is, it's tough to kill them but it's possible.

Also, those aren't my videos. Their ElishaMutangs. One of the best all time.

. I would say cunning is the most valuable skill in this game. You are in an arena with very little in the way of rules, with that many possibilities for smart thinking, It's no surprise wit and cunning are so valuable. With a game like this, you cannot expect everyone (or anyone) to fight you "fair" for the sake of fighting you "fair". People are going to do whatever they can to beat you, and you have to be clever enough to find ways around that. There are plenty of strategies which play on the weaknesses of teams, and with the way the game is built and balanced, you have a near infinite capacity to find or create these strategies.

so does that mean i'm cunning??

Talk about how unfair teams are is old now. As Taco said: The game is unfair.

The chests are random, the opponents will be of highly varying skill levels, the teams, and even the hackers... (Although that's a different story - that isn't allowed at all, unlike teams. That's a different kind of unfair, but it's still a part of the game that will still happen occasionally.) It's all a part of the game.

I understand the frustration of being killed by things you feel you can't control. As my friend SixZoSeven once said: Survival games is a game of chance. Skill is a part of the game, yes, but if you think about it...skill is just modifying chance. In other words, what would normally be a 100% chance of me dying against a team of 5 could be reduced greatly to 20% if I had the necessary skill to defeat them...however, the 20% still exists because the games, and Minecraft, are just too random for me, as well as the players I'm against.

I've fought teams of 5 who I can kill with extreme ease, and I've also fight one single other person who I was having trouble even reaching, let alone killing...but I've also had it the other way around. Teams of 5 who are all just as good as me are near impossible for me, and single people who have just started playing are like childs play...and I can't control what I come across in the match...or can I?

In this game of chance, it's about controlling you chances in your favor. Not negating them, unless it's somehow possible. I can avoid powerful teams by remembering their names. Have to pick between two people to kill in the early game bloodbath? Pick off the threat. He's running preemptively? Probably towards a teammate. Is his friend in a server? I probably shouldn't be too predictable in my path when running. All of these things will reduce the chances just that much more...although it can still happen. What if they never left each others side? What if I didn't get a weapon until late? This is when it's time for plan B. Always have something up your sleeve, no matter what the situation, but remember...You can control the chances, but you cannot stop them from effecting the game completely.

Recently, on two different occasions, I was playing on low number servers (like, 1-10, for the chest update.) with some mods/friends...naturally, we saw a lot of the same people because of this. As expected, it was only a matter of time before we came across a team of 5 friends who kept joining the same server as us, and they were really good, too. Getting close to them without getting hit? Yeah, good luck with that. Game after game, they killed us, even though our team also had good players. We were outnumbered by players of equal or greater skill and far better teamwork, and unless we went to go play elsewhere...we couldn't avoid it. Sometimes, these things happen, and as much as we tried to avoid it, to control it...it could still happen, and did happen. A game of chance, not in our favor..."may the games be ever in your favor." (We enjoyed a challenge, though, so we kept trying at least.)

Needless to say, teams can be killed if you know how. They still have the advantage, yes, but after you've played a luck based game like this for a little while, you'll learn to not only get used to it, but maybe appreciate the challenge occasionally as well.
