Why can't people donate just for knowing they helped people who need money to fund a server for Hundreds of thousands of people?

It's their own choice. Maybe they just want to help the servers?!

I'm guessing the post was about why to donate, but people do it to help the server out, and for the perms like joining full servers!: )
