Block glitch

I have a question about block glitching. Is it banable or not because i saw a lot of people doing it and i did it a lot 2. Sometimes when i am in the lobby and i block glitch people say that they can report me. If it is true what they say why does everyone do it and why do they put chest on places where you can only block glitch to get them (the golden armor in the lobby)

In severe cases, yes, it is bannable. In all cases, it is punishable.
The gold armor can be obtained legitimately. It's just rather difficult, as you have to jump in such a way that the chest is open for a small second, and then closes.
