The EU servers are absolutely corrupt. Every game I come across hackers, and now they have become the main population of the EU servers. I join a lobby and see people with multi aura running around, or gliding about in the air. And people even admit to hacks and no one cares. We have tried to live with it, but it is becoming too much. I see 1 mod every 50 games if im lucky and they don't do [snip], half of them are in the hub afk or having fun, they became mod for a reason, to moderate, not to play. What is happening is the hacker population is growing massively everyday, this is because of people getting [snip] of at hackers, dying to them 40 games in a row, which happens too often. So what they do is they think, 'no one is moderating or even cares, and i am not having fun playing legit', so what they do is go and get hacks and its just a massive snowball effect. I dont know how to fix EU server, that is the admins jobs, whitelisting is one option, or drastically increase the number of mods. all I know is that EA do a better job with their community.

Go play another server if it makes you happy...

  • If you see hackers, report them. If you are unable to record, go on the Team speak and report them to a Mod there. If you don't have Team speak, go on the forums and tell a Mod from here.
  • Mods became a Mod to play AND moderate. Not exactly sure who gave you that idiotic idea.
  • Whitelisting will never happen - that's a terrible idea.
  • They can't just add more Mods as they please - quality over quantity.
Boom.

I am an EU player myself and to be honest, I only saw 1 hacker today in a total of 20 games I played. I followed him for a while, recorded his hacks and reported him here. I recommend you to do the same. We as the community need to help out the moderators the best as we can as they can't be looking over everyone in every game. If you see someone breaking the rules, take a screenshot when they admit to hacking or record a video when they actually do. If you are unable to do either of these, just poke a moderator on TeamSpeak and they will be more than willing to help you.

Staff is aware of the massive hacker problem in EU and that's why they created Operation Clean Sweep . With this, they reach out to the community asking to help them as much as possible with catching hackers. The developers have recently even implemented the Xime Anti Cheat system and because of this, they were and still are able to take care of all the regeneration hackers. That's the reason why you don't see them anymore today and therefore you probably didn't even notice that they were gone. They are currently improving the system to get rid of even more types of hacks, but until then, please bear with us.

They will not suddenly increase the amount of moderators just because there would be too few. Only the best of best are accepted as they strive to get the best moderators they can get. Quality over quantity.

Before you reply to this and give some more complaints about hackers or moderators, go scroll through the forums, read one of the thousand threads that are already made about this and you will hopefully find some answers there.

I am sorry for being harsh but there are too much of these threads already and they are really starting to annoy me. You can always help out to make these servers better yourself by reporting the rule breakers here.

my opinion? They should ban the hackers permanently, unban them after 2 days it's totally insane.
I'm an EU player too, in a month a reported 45 hackers (and i still have 5 videos to upload)

I really like mcsg but.. it's unfair.

Anyway, sometimes i poked a MOD on TS and when they come to my match they just watch the hacker and they don't kick out him. They leave him win.
Hope they can fix the hackers, maybe they can create a 'mcsg client' and you have to download and use it if you want to play this server.. thats an idea..

Okay, I have to say a few things about this.
They should ban the hackers permanently, unban them after 2 days it's totally insane.
The reason why hackers are not permanently banned on their first offense for hacking is because MCSG wants to give them a second chance. The hacker chooses. They either take this second chance and quit using a hacked client or they ignore the ban, keep hacking on the server and therefore get permanently banned. Also, I don't know where you got this information, but hackers are banned for 7 days for their first offense, not only 2. I think that's a fair punishment already.

Anyway, sometimes i poked a MOD on TS and when they come to my match they just watch the hacker and they don't kick out him. They leave him win.
Each hacker will be dealt with appropriately. The simple reason why they don't kick or ban the hacker immediately after they have seen him hacking, is because they need evidence. In the case of hackers, the evidence would be a video containing that certain player using hacks. The hacker will be banned (not kicked) once the video is available to be consulted at any time if needed (once it is uploaded to the internet after rendering and such). Moderators never ban a player without evidence, it is even impossible to ban someone without evidence with the system that they are currently using.

Hope they can fix the hackers, maybe they can create a 'mcsg client' and you have to download and use it if you want to play this server.. thats an idea..
This will most likely not happen as the players will have to download the MCSG client and they would therefore lose a lot of their players.

For the second point i can agree with you (points of view)
For the first point : An Italian youtuber made a video where he hacks, saying that play with hack it's too easy and that his fan DON'T have to hack, but someone reported him and he said that he was unbanned after 2 days, thats why.k, saying that play with hack it's too easy and that his fan DON'T have to hack, but someone reported him and he said that he was unbanned after 2 days, thats why.
Imho if you hack you don't deserve a second change, because YOU KNOW what you are going to do, you install the hack for win UNFAIR and you know that you will be banned!
And, trust me, i always re-seen them hack again. It's a waste of time if you have to report them twice.

They did a GREAT thing implementing the new hack-shield, and finally nobody can use regen, hope the can totally fix those programs.

P.S: Sorry if my english isn't perfect, i'm italian..

Well, I don't know why he got unbanned after 2 days, but hackers usually get banned for 7 days. And I have seen some hackers that I reported before still using hacks after their ban had expired, so I just reported them again. But some people do change, unfortunately not all of them. :(

SmoothPixels can you filter the cursing on this?

Also Nephilim is %100 percent correct, read what he said.

I urge you to report all the hackers you see, the moderators do there best to keep the servers clean, but it is up to the player, who spends the most time in games, to record and then report abusers of hacked clients. Then, the moderators will take it from there, and deal a ban upon a player that deserves it. The moderators don't always have to be doing the recording.

I just want to say one more thing quickly. When there is a hacker on the servers, that does not mean that the moderators are doing a bad job. Mods cannot see players with hacked clients before they join a lobby, and just choose not to ban them, because they are "corrupt" as many people say. In fact, a player not recording a hacker is more annoying to the other players and means that the hacker can ruin more games. If the first player to see a hacker recorded him or poked a moderator right away, banning would be super efficient.

Just remember, someone has to be the first one to see a hacker and should do their part in the community to record and report them. Everyone takes a turn in getting killed by a hacker, and should deal with them appropriately.

I urge the community to take this advice.

This should be locked, it really serves no purpose imo. Most people know about the hacker problem on EU.

Shouldn't this thread be locked?
You know, now that I think about it, it should be locked.

This thread is bringing up issues that we have/are working on fixing. If you ever see a hacker while playing please poke a mod on TeamSpeak or report them here. Thread locked.
