EXTREMELY weird spawn on holiday resort

So I spawned, and it looked like there was no ground beneath me. When the game started, I kept falling and then getting teleported back, but to everyone else, it looked normal.

This is a bug with your Minecraft generation. There is currently no fix and the Mojang Devs are looking into a fix.

Been around since Alpha and they only get fixed by logging in and out again

This is a chunk error. I don't know if there is a way to solve it other than to simply leave the server.
