Friends Mod

Hello, I saw this cool mod on the planet minecraft forums, I have not installed it yet, but I was just wondering - is the FriendColour mod allowed? Basically you can edit people into lists/groups and colour there names to make it more organised, and to check if your friends are online. Is it allowed?

Ya, I asked about one called friends overlay and some mods said no and some said yes so I dont know

Friend colour mod is NOT allowed, as when I joined TheLegends, we all had that mod and suddenly we got told to turn it off right away.

I doubt it is allowed, based on canziano's experience, But I can try and get some clarification

EDIT: SR. staff has confirmed that it is banned.
