So, I read this post literally seconds ago, but apparently you can get banned if you report a hacker, hacker gets punished and you remove the evindence because the situation was handled.

Why couldn't you just remove the evidence if the hacker got punished?! I haven't got much space on my computer and the fraps files are HUGE! My computer would be pretty much filled up with the evidence videos if I still had them. This is a ridiculous reasob to get PERMAbanned.. -.-

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I understood MoLoToV's post http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.c...thread-in-attempt-to-get-him-unbanned.127855/

I took it to mean that if you delete the video from Youtube or wherever you uploaded it to then you can get banned as the video may need to be reviewed if a ban dispute is made. That's just how I took it I may be wrong.

Edit: Because if you delete it from your computer after you've uploaded it to Youtube then the video is still there and can be watched.

Well, if you remove the evidence anyone could be theoretically unbanned because there is no proof they did anything. That's reasonable, but I feel like permanently banning someone is way too severe for something that could very well happen accidentally.

You can delete the videos of your computer, just don't delete them off your youtube account. If you upload the as "Unlisted" they don't show to your subscribers and won't count towards your total amount of upload.

As RC_4777 said, if you delete the video, there is no evidence anymore that the person actually broke any of our rules, thus putting us in a difficult situation.

I'd like to point out that the videos have no affect on your youtube channel at all, and I personally don't see a reason why you would delete them. It clearly states in the rules that you risk being permanently banned of our network for removing evidence. So when you actually remove the evidence, don't be suprised if the punishment is a permanent ban.
