How do you use diamond, gold ingots etc?

No offence but what you asked was vanilla Minecraft ^_^
Almost every Minecraft player in existence knows how to make a diamond sword.

I actually haven't fully prior to this play MC properly. I got it, but I was just too lazy to make stuff and had my friends do it. xD Unlike Sims, its not already made for you.
