How does everyone feel about teaming?

I either skype team with people in the same clan as me or I play solo. Any in-game teams I make are going to be strategic and temporary. For example if there are 6 people left, a team of 3 and the rest are all solo players, it would be strategic for the solo players to band together to take out the team and then fight it out in deathmatch.

I may even make a short term team in a random FFA, lasting 30 seconds until a looted player is killed. I would attempt to take the armour and weapons and then just run, terminating any team agreement which hasn't actually been agreed upon.

I believe that if you are going to make a team during a game, you should be extremely conscious of whether or not they will backstab you. This can save your life many times by just anticipating any treachery.

Teaming is probably the most fun part of MCSG. Without teams it would have been boring. I am still searching for a team of 5...

Teams I normally save for Skype or TS because normally you can tell if they're about to backstab you. However if the team in game is strategic then I would be all for it.

For example, when I see a ram in game and I have a friend spectating I'll request a hint on wherei could find people to fight with and work together. When we're on the last guy I'll often let them go in first and hit them from behind so they think its the people killing them instead XD but that's only when I'm in a devious mood.

Teams in games are fine as long as they aren't more than three people (I try not to team with more than 3 people at a time and often go for two because its fairer.)

Teaming with friends is so fun, but if we are teamed with 4 or more people we generally do a free for all. Even if I'm teamed with 1 person we split up and don't hang around each other the whole game.

Example of a team that's too big, this isn't even the whole team, they had way more people than this. In this shot you can see 6 of them and there was about 10 or 11 in the whole game.

How do you all feel about teaming? When I say teaming I mean without TeamSpeak or Skype or whatever vocal talking program you and your friends use.. I mean teaming just in-game and once it's just you two left you fight each other?
I remember my first Hunger Games.. *Flashes Back*
I was playing Hunger Games with my brother, we decided to team with who seemed to be nice at first. We found a while heap of iron and we started smelting it. Next thing we know as soon as we gave him a sword he kills us. Like wwhhaatt!! We hated that game! But I got my revenge. Heh heh heh. But that was my first HG.
Now back on topic..
How do you feel about teaming with random people you find.. No Skype or TeamSpeak etc... Just teaming in-game and the only way of communication is the Minecraft chat. How do you feel about that? I never thought it was the safest idea.. So whenever they pulled out their sword or weapon I would move away instantly and pull out my weapon.

I've fought a team of 32, killed 11 of them, but the rest raped me. I'm sure you can take them out. Just go on 48 servers.


But as for me, I don't team unless I'm in Skype or TS with them. Because if I team with someone random, eventually it ends up one betraying the other, and since I don't want to get betrayed, and I don't like betraying since it makes me feel guilty, I just don't team with someone random. But of course, facing teams is challenging and fun
