How to become a Mod.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there is any way to become a mod. i would love to be one, and a mod told me he applied. I didn't know if he applied when these servers were being made or what, but i couldn't find where to apply. I would LOVE to become one, but idk how. thanks!
