I need some advice about my ISP

Hello MCSG!

I have a few questions that I need answered.

My parents are paying 60$ a month for 70gb of bandwidth/traffic. In all honesty, I find this a rip off. So I've been looking for a new ISP and I found one that offers unlimited bandwidth/traffic for 90$ a month.

Now they came out to my house to install the internet but since there are a lot tall trees around my house we can't reach their tower. I emailed them and asked if there was a way to get their internet. They said I need a 80ft tower that costs 3-4000$$.

Does anyone know of any other ways of getting connected to their tower other than spending 4000$ on a 80ft (which we will not do since it sounds ridicules)

The only other options I could suggest might be looking for another provider or cutting down some of the trees so you can reach the tower (assuming they are on your property)

My parents wouldn't approve of cutting down the trees. As for finding another ISP is quite difficult. I live in rural Alberta (Canada) and most ISP's have traffic caps of 70GB or under.

oh mine internet is 500gb with phone plan for 70$ a month is great
