Is it bannable?

It is bannable to have a texture pack that has increased brightness? I don't know how to fix it, but it is the texture pack. When I go to default it is dark, when I use the texture pack it is bright. Is it bannable? I am not using any mod or changing my jar, I am simply just using a texture pack which EVERYONE can use. So can someone explain to me if it is or not and why?

Yes it is, as it gives you an unfair advantage over the other players. I would delete the pack as of right now.

How is it an unfair advantage? Any player can do it in their texture pack. That is like saying resource packs are unfair.

If it gives an advantage over players, yes. If you want to fix the texture pack, I would suggest removing the custom sky, I think that's what causes it

I personally don't see this as an "unfair advantage", as it's simply a resource pack. It would be like saying a fast computer with a high internet speed is an unfair advantage as some players have small laptops with slow internet speeds. As long as it isn't something like "Full Bright" I can't help but think it would be fine.

They edited the custom sky so it has the same effect as full bright. Which is not allowed. therefore texture packs like that are not allowed.

Answer to the question : Yes, as it provides the same advantage as full bright it's against the rules and therefore banable.
