I would like to know the reasons behind /d only working in the lobby. Why not let them do it in the hub, then when they join no one will be aware of their presence.

I'm sure there's a good reason, so please inform.

I assume there's a reason for it, otherwise it would/should have been changed a long time again.

That's actually a really good question and a good idea. Diamond donators don't have silent join and silent leaving from lobbies or games so it's easy to figure it out that they are in the game.
I think this should be implemented.
