trying installing game boosterAccording to people who are good at pvp or have a good computer, What is, according to you, good FPS? Not to sound like I'm blaming FPS for my bad skills and wins but I usually get 17... and that could be the reason I suck. Unless you get like 10 FPS too. Some people say they get 300 FPS.... I'm jelly. :/
But when i use optifine my screen get all buggy and that even my i install it right i'm an old modder so i know how to install mods but optifine can't work i've got windows 8 is that any problem please answer how to fix this!I got around 60-100 I believe. I got a computer good enough for I need it to do and no more.
Anyway, from experience - anything less than 25 FPS and your combat will need to change a bit to compensate. Anything below 15 and it's almost not even worth trying, it gets ridiculously annoying at that point, especially if you spike lower often.
I'd suggest grabbing the mod "optifine" if you haven't already. I'm sure you've heard of it a million times - if you correctly optimize it, it can increase your FPS tenfold.
Ping isn't the only factor (e.g. I get 18 ms, yet still get Internet lag). I believe download speed is the other major factor.Minimun for good gameplay:
Decent for good gameplay:
- Atleast 10 frames per second.
- Under 500ms ping.
Good for good gameplay:
- Atleast 30 frames per second.
- Under 300ms.
Perfect for good gameplay:
- Atleast 60 frames per second.
- Under 100ms.
My frames per second = Perfect
- Atleast 300 frames per second.
- A stable 30-40ms ping.
My connection = Minimun - Decent
True. I have very good download for Australia, and horrible upload. It does make a difference though, if I flank and strafe around an opponent sometimes I can see them hitting slightly to were I was a second ago due to the upload, but I can see pretty clearly where they are most of the time due to the download. People with a good connection are usually at an advantage, but sometimes laggier players have the advantage.Ping isn't the only factor (e.g. I get 18 ms, yet still get Internet lag). I believe download speed is the other major factor.
