player status

hey guys,
my minecraft and tekkit username is tapplefan101
i am a good friend of xgirble
he said that he knew how to apply for player status on one of the minecraft survival games servers but when i posted asking how to get it as my player status someone commented saying that i got it just for asking
is that true?
if not can someone tell me how to apply because i play on the server lots and people say that they wont give me anything because i dont have player status
