Ha ha you don't get it even I draw them on paper, ink them (with ink) and scan them in. I only colour them with the tablet (which isn't really necessary)

So draw and trace (just for smoothness). I see. I created something a little less skillful yesterday to the style of your staff pics, but instead of drawing/scanning, I traced the base parts of the character with photoshop and then just did what you did with the outline.

you can see the outcome of using the touchpad where the helmet is a bit warped.

yeah just use the pen tool for that stuff
