Spectator glitch?

Hello, I have noticed that right after I kill someone, they float there for a fraction of a second before disappearing. It might just be a small glitch in the code, but it always confuses me no matter how many times I see it.

This isn't game changing, nor do I think it's a bug. The way I see it is that it's intentional.

Either way I've messaged a Sr. Mod for a final answer - if it's a bug, I'll let you know. If it's not, then don't expect a reply as I might have forgotten.
