I think it could be good, but they just need a different way of doing it ... it seems to be like everyone says more of a popularity sort of thing, not just feeling sorry for a guy

Feeling sorry for them should have nothing to do with it. It is their fault that they aren't doing good. Your job as a spectator is to watch the game. If you're bored, watch a youtube video.

I think /sponsor should be removed completely.

I think the sponsor idea is a good thing if its limited to one item per person kind of thing? over the popularity issue, everyone has friends.. if noone likes you on mcsg.. theres gunna be a problem with the way you are playing? it just means people are gunna be nicer to each other.. so I think its a good thing

Yes, but I didn't need sponsors to help me get better. I got better myself. Noobs will never get better at MCSG because they will rely on sponsors to get them what they need.
