Once on Teweran SG3 all three of us in deathmatch fell into the gigantic water reservoir thing, and it somehow turned out that nobody was killed at the time the timer ran out. So yeah that map could definitely use one. :p
How about just filling in that hole? I don't really think the lotus flower thing looks too "tsg3y"

It's also made entirely of glass... I don't think the person who made it knows about invisible fire on glass :p

Whoa! I was talking about a game before it had a deathmatch arena. I didn't know they actually had added one on it. When you said "lotus flower", I was like wat?? xD

Definitely agree, all tall grass should be removed to be able to place flint and steel, Holiday thankfully was worked on, now remove the tall grass from Chernobyl, Fortune Island & Fortress Pyke, thanks!!

I greatly dislike the idea of standardizing every deathmatch. If I'm alone against a team of three, I can't play off of the environment of the cornucopia as much to help myself be more likely to win. Though removing grass is something I greatly enjoy, I don't think complete upheaval of the current deathmatches are necessary, at least not for every map. SG Highway is definitely something to change, as it offers little or no strategic value, but the maps with multiple levels/water/vines make for a very interesting and winnable fight for almost anyone, provided you are skilled enough to use the arena to your advantage.

Standardizing the DMs make every deathmatch nearly the same, and that is one thing I do not enjoy. I like variation in games, not doing the same thing over and over again. If every time the point is to kill everyone until DM, then do Deathmatch the same as you always do, not barely overcome a 'camping' tribute who is very weak and yet puts up a fight or struggling to set a someone on fire.

Instead of making arenas to fix the grass problem, I think they should allow the breaking of grass and leaves when fighting the DM to allow yourself to make a 'landing space' for your fire as you fight, dealing with the grass problem. Water and multiple levels offer a challenging array of different strategies that not everyone may enjoy, yet I believe enhances gameplay. These DM arenas should be a rare occurrence on a few maps, not a necessary part of every map.

Fallen Empire still holds the best DM Arena in my heart. You just can't beat the Colosseum as a DM venue.
Agreed. That's why Fallen Empire is one of my fave maps. Not many people like it, but it is actually a very beautiful map.

Shouldn't have areanes on said maps but instead, running should be blocked off with glass.
