The truth about staff on mcgamer

Every server has good and bad Moderators, and MCGamer is no exception. However, that does not mean we have to call out the bad Mods. This kind of relates to the whole ordeal regarding Dave. Put yourself in his shoes for a second. Imagine logging onto the forums each day, just to see a mass spam of "You're a bad admin", " You suck.", etc. He doesn't like it, and I can guarantee you the Moderators you call out and attack do not like it either. We all make mistakes; you have to accept that. Granted, some of us make more mistakes, and some make less. Just remember that you improve upon each mistake you make, and in a little while these Mods you are calling 'bad' will grow up to be a fine member of staff.

I thought it would be another post complaining about staff here. I completely agree with what you have said and people should look here before going to bash on a staff member (or a group of them) with no real knowledge of current events or how the staff works in general.

How does one gather all this information with in 17 days of joining the forums ?

In this server, everyone thinks they are right about their opinion and do not utilize the facts as much as they need to. I've seen rude hostile comments toward the staff from players in the community who don't have all of the information. I'd like to clear up a few things mentioned

This is a complete and utter lie. He hosts and participates in several meetings a week, manages other staff, organizes events such as the more recent Australia meet up going on as I type this. He is dedicated enough to US and to HELP US that he quit his job. He is an incredible leader and has earned his place as head of the admin team.
B. "New modz r bad Ima just leeve 4 hive chrome."
This is incredibly inaccurate. Any mods who do poorly are most often demoted (ie shanrrbananrr). In addition, New mods are trained by who? experienced old mods! They are taught everything the old mods know. I'm aware that the mods who have been a while prove to do a bit better on average; both preform incredibly well and deserve credit for it.

No. There are rarely unfair bans; of course they exist. It's impossible to prevent them considering the whopping hundreds of bans that occur WEEKLY. One may not agree with some bans. I agree; some of these were undeserved. One may not, however, generalize and assume the staff don't do their job because of them. They can't always tell exactly if someone is good and has incredible ping (justicedog) or hacks (average aimbot hacker we see on a daily basis.) Give them credit for what they do correctly not only the latter.

Ok let's do the calculations. About 80,000 players have ever hacked on the mcgamer network. About 1800 new players join the server as a hacker daily. There are around, what? 80ish mods? Yeah... gg.
E. And finally, "y u no Unban me! I posted awn ur prfile about it and y I shood be unband but u dint! Wtf!"

How am I supposed to listen to a perma banned player about bans?

8. Do not start argue/flame wars: We want to keep the community peaceful; a place where people are free to have opinions and discuss things. Arguments ruin discussions and are unnecessary.
