Very funky, what server does this happen to you on? It's possible you joined at the exact moment when the map was switching over.

I can't remember which server it was but i only play on the 'eu' servers. No, it has only happened to me randomly when i join a lobby at any moment

Has happened to me before. I also know why it happens and I can do it whenever I want to. But since it is abusing a bug it is not allowed, so I wont tell you. I have reported it to developers so they will be fixing it.
