Hacking is pretty much a normal thing now on servers, just deal with it, you choose to play minecraft, if you don't like the unfair aspects of it there are many different games.
A lot of different games with an equal number of hackers, I might add. So long as people play a game, there will be people who want to hack on it.

I got no idea of how hard it is; I got no idea of the stress that there is on them. I am just saying what is going on, a big server with big earnings will also have big stress and big things to do. Remember that.

And thanks for telling its illegal to check the .minecraft, that makes it even harder to fix the hackers; But why is it illegal? It is also illegal to use hacks on MCGamer servers...
Thank you for stating that our size does make things quite a bit more complicated. Where there are a large number of players there are is an equally-proportioned larger number of hackers. And we aren't small enough to do any about-face turns in policy because such a large number of people would be affected and it wouldn't be fair to them. That's one thing people don't think about when they suggest the "zero-tolerance immediate perm-ban for hacking offenses" idea.

In regards to why it's illegal, Mooclan stated it generally.
No, it's actually illegal. By federal law or something.
Using hacks is simply Not allowed. Because MCSG doesn't like it.
We're dealing with two different levels of rule-breaking here.

On a community scale, we're dealing with people breaking our community's arbitrarily-set rules. Our community does not hold any governmental authority, so we can't punish people outside our powers within the community; we cannot have hackers thrown in jail (but we can all dream). When rule breakers break our rules, we can only punish them on a community-scale (e.g. kick or ban).
On a federal level, scanning peoples' PC without their given consent is very much illegal, and laws have certainly been passed in nearly every country that has access to internet stating that such acts are criminal. While our intentions with a .minecraft scan may not be malicious, it will most certainly be seen as such and we'll be accused of spreading malware. The only way to do something like that legally would be to get our own MC launcher, something that's very much out of the question developmentally.

If anybody wants a fun statistic:

Wow, staff members are doing nothing.
That's a vast underestimation of the average amount of bans, too. Yesterday had some pretty serious downages due to Mojang maintenance. The usual number hovers between around 400, sometimes reaching twice that during weekends.

Yup, and it was also on a weekday when our staff is less active. I tend to see it consistently reaching over 600 during weekends :p

I propose another statistic: "Number of 'The Staff Don't Do Anything' Complaints made in the past 24 hours."
We should put it right under the stats for "Number of bans that have been issued in the past 24 hours" statistic.

But I want to ask, are this bans permanent? Because if they are not it makes no sense...

Btw I am not a complainer if I seemed one in my post just look how many hackers I've recorded. http://prntscr.com/38dvkn

What you say is true xD. If only there were a way for the server to catch hackers automatically... That way we wouldn't even have this problem.

Many people dont know this but the .minecraft account includes your password for your minecraft and mojang accounts, the direct IP's of the registration and last login of your account as well as (I think) the name of your PC and has the potential to access the rest of your computer. If MCgamer were to open the .minecraft of the player they would also be able to look at that information which is stated in the terms of use for Mojang and a server may not open the .minecraft without the permission of the player, nor is it allowed anywhere, it is against federal law in just about every country.

It is also illegal to use hacks on MCGamer servers...
It isnt illegal, it is just not allowed. Minecraft is an open source modded game, therefore editing the game and changing the aspects is very much allowed, as long as you dont resell the game and make monetary profit from it.

Lower then I expected actually...

That's a lot. Anyway, has it been like this since before? Like, last year, I only saw hackers really seldom. These days, I see a lot. Did it grow?
As MCSG grows, the amount of players grow. And, of course, the number of hackers grows with it. However, it'd be better to answer the question, "Are there more hackers per game than before?" And the answer would be, most likely, yes. There are more hacks being released, and more people who've played Minecraft for a long time are getting used to seeing hacks, and even using them in some cases, plus there are new players who use hacks as well, compared to when there weren't.

Hackers are on the increase everywhere, and it's pretty hard to stop. Obviously, the makers of hacked clients aren't going to be giving us ways to detect it (although it was very kind of the Damage Indicators creator to do so). All we can do is work together as a community to record every single hacker, and ensure that they are punished.
