Anyone that is decent at PvP. I stopped watching BajanCanadian a LONG time ago because of his skill level; I don't really care what type of commentary there is, as long as you're a good player.

Good commentary and exciting game play to be honest. While people like to have a deeper voice, and I tend to gravitate to that as well, the gameplay matters most to me. As long as it is not a speed run, because I hate those.

Something different. There is too much of the same thing - voice commentary, maybe some music, template intro/outro and not much originality. Make sure that if you make a video, you make it completely original and unique!
(I should listen to my own advice...)

I like to watch a player with decent skill and winning games. Music makes it better <3 I don't really care about voice but more about audio quality.

Just seem like you're happy and having fun. I don't like the rage-y, cocky type of Youtuber.

Alright, I got quite a few preferences when it comes to what I like to witness when in relations to YouTube video's but will list my most basic/simplistic protocol when it comes to a subject such as this.

Commentary for myself is always preferred by voice as I am able to hear the recorder's thoughts whilst he/she play's the game and gives me a sense of excitement as I can relate to the user's feelings and selected actions within the game. Humor in commentary is always vital for it draws my attention and takes away the boredom which usually amounts when the game is becoming daunting or whether I have become tired of the reoccurring content of the user's channel. Continuing on, I prefer a deeper voice as it usually shows professionalism in my eyes and gives me the reassurance to know who I am watching is older and will most likely be more committed to his channel compared to someone younger who would not have as much experience in terms of the essentials to creating a successful channel. As for face cam I find it distracting when trying to concentrate on the content and it usually draws my attention away from the content when watching the video. Skill level and tips/tricks do not matter to me as it is the individual's unique traits I am looking at not what he/she's capabilities are when it comes to their skill level within a video game. Music is pleasant to have in the background however, I tend to have an annoyance when the music is completely drowning the You Tuber's voice so for this specific question I would answer yes in some cases but to a specific degree.

Anyway, those are my general preferences when it comes to what I personally like to notice within a YouTuber. It would be nice to here more comments as I like the tone of this thread. I wish the creator of this thread good luck or anyone in general if they are trying to persue YouTube seriously and hope my tips assist you abundantly as well as all the other opinion's.

I can't watch anyone that doesn't organise their inventory at least a bit or doesn't eat for too long. Just makes me cringe

  1. Good Commentary
  2. Funny
  3. Good at PvP
  4. Doesn't complain about teams or constantly say lag
  5. Doesn't accuse of Hacks constantly
  6. Enjoying what they're
  7. Not making like Goals or complaining about support
So yeah, I'm kinda picky. :p

I love seeing Youtubers that interact as much as they can with their audience, big or small. I like people who have really interesting topics or are funny. I hate when people just push out daily videos of the same commentary "I cant find a sword" "oh there's a team I hate those" etc. I feel like since so many people have made it big recently they assume they can just push out the same stuff everyone else does and get the popularity of all the other ones.
