Whats with all the donor hate?

I've been noticing lately more and more people seem to be hating on donors.. but I really dont get it? donors help to pay for the servers.. = No donors->no servers... I know it is soo irritating being kicked from every lobby (which is why I got donor myself) but if its a huge issue then just dont join peak times? I just dont get it lol x

If one is a donor and they hack, spam, or are just a complete jerk, as many are, being arrogant and just plain rude in the chat, that is why they are hated. Those kind of donors are not helping the servers at all. I'd like to think the majority of donors are cool, but unfortunately I don't think that's the case. They think that because they donated they are therefore better than everyone else. Hopefully, and I assume so, you are one of the cool donors.

And as for anyone hating donors just because they kicked them, well, those people need to grow up and deal with it.

Just cause one donor hacks or spams, doesn't mean other people do it. I'm a donor and doesn't hack or spam, so people who think of this are bias. It's a rumor spread by non donors. Just cause they kick doesn't mean they suck.

Believe me, I don't hate on donors. I hate on people who are jerks. This would include making rude comments, foul language, etc. If they happen to be a donor and they are a jerk, so be it. It just so happens a fair number of those people are donors. But, being a donor should have nothing to do with a person being "hated". Of course, the reason for many people hating on donors could be simply for the fact that they get kicked, which is obviously very stupid (speaking of the people who hate them for this, lol). For me, I will have a problem with a donor only if they are doing the above things I mentioned. And that goes just the same for normal players. The fact that someone is a donor should have no bearing whatsoever on how they are treated or how they treat others.

Weather it's the fact we have a different colored name, or that they hate being kicked and take it out on us. There are MANY more reasons that donors do good, for example, we are "over" non-donors (if anyone takes offence by that, my apoligies, there is not a good way to put that, but it's not like it sounds), which means that the more "Immature" (I use that word VERY lightly)players see that we have athority, so some can act as "mini moderators"and "misbehaving" players will follow what we say (this can be a burden as well because there are still people who do the ALT-F4 thing :L).

I don't see any reason to hate on donors (I have only been a donor for 2 weeks), so it should stop, but that's not going to happen.

It's not the donors. It is some donors. Some donors are acting like eight year olds, going around boasting about their money and their four wins. Some donors. Some donors think they own the place, by saying
"Guys, why don't you donate? Are you selfish or poor? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. NOOBS."

Most donors that just joined the MCSG community think that they are above the rules. Which they are absolutely not.

I don't necessarily take offense to this, it's a fair point, but I think it's this mindset possessed by an immature player that causes the problems. I don't know quite what you mean by being "over" non-donors. If you mean "donated to help the server and so I'm more mature than normal players" I would have to disagree. Perhaps other people have a different view on this matter, but I consider myself a mature person, and, by that maturity standard, I am "above" about 80% of MCSG players, but am not a donor, because I cannot afford to become one (which kind of sucks).

Now assuming you agree that I can be mature, there is just as strong a chance that any normal player can be mature, and it is the notion that, by maturity, monetary wealth, or the color of your name that any player is "above" any other player, that problems are caused in the first place, and the first step toward preventing donor hate is to be rid of that mindset. If players act immature, you reserve the right to hate them as much as you want, but generalization isn't the way to go.
