That is great to hear. It is always nice to see people appreciating the hard work staff members put ( voluntarily ) into these servers.
100% agree! I love to see people who actually appreciate the staff.
It seems this post was irrelevant in many ways. It hurt my eyes to read this, it obviously shows that you were mad when you wrote this (and the multiple replies). You aren't going to get anywhere insulting the staff, as they are doing a perfectly fine job. The Community is great enough to have Staff like this. Do your part and Report Hackers, it makes the Staff's life easier.
I can say this on behalf of the whole staff team: We appreciate the kind comments. It is a joy getting to help an amazing community.
Also you are complaining about no staff members on Teamspeak right now there is 14 moderators, 5 Sr mods, 3 Admins and 2 devs.
30 mods on at the moment. I have never seen a time where there is 0 staff.
i know, but there are probably like 4000000 hackers more, you did a good job, but there are lots of more hackers, i just said it should be easier to report a hacker, if there were mods in the hub so we can just get out of the game and say "MOD, player123 is hacking in eu23"
We can't be everywhere at once. We try our hardest, but not everyone will be caught. For example, many bank robbers will get away with their crimes.
Probably more than 10k people applied to mod, if there are just 150 mods is because they think they dont need more, and MCSG DO need more than 150 hackers, in my opinion it is the server with more hackers (at least EU, in US there are not many hackers) and there should be at least 500 mods or more
We want to best staff members possible. If we accepted everyone, the server wouldn't work out.
EITHER RECORD THEM OR POKE A MOD ON TS OMG! How many times does this need to be said..???
Yes yes yes yes yes
Ok, this is the think, ILL REPORT THEM IF THEY WOULD GET BANNED, but they have a second chance, so I cant be reporting hackers all day, I would report them all them if they'd get banned permanently but they dont.
If the staff really wants to clean the server they should ban hackers permanent
Some people change. We don't want to automatically permanently ban people.

pretty sure this
TWO THINGS:
1- In this moment there are soo many hackers that they should change rules to hackers = permanent ban, cuz there are so many hackers

2- Even if he stops hacking I want that guy to be banned because he is hacking all the time and he shouldnt have a second chance
You stated that you were banned for increased gamma? If we permanently banned people first offense, you wouldn't be here.
Although this thread was very blunt and rude, I understand your point. You have to understand that MCSG is in fact hiring a plethora of mods right now to keep up with the influx of hackers and other rule breakers. We also have Operation Clean Sweep which, even though somewhat inactive, is directed toward cleaning up the EU region. MCSG is doing all they can. Feel free to PM me with further questions :)
Yes, we have clean sweeps that are dedicated to catching hackers.
Hackers eventually get permanently banned. If you are SO CONCERNED and think you can do a better job than the current staff, why don't you apply for Mod?

There's a solution to this issue you raise; hire more mods. Unfortunately, it's also the problem to the answer.

People say there aren't enough mods. Hiring more mods would fix this, but also result in lowering standards. Lower standards result in lower quality mods. Quality > Quantity

People also say that the mods currently hired don't do their job well. To fix this, we raise the standards beyond what they are at the moment. More quality mods also directly results in less of them.

Do you see something here in both instances? We can't win either way. That's a problem that's a result of the expansion of the server.

But don't fear, the community CAN help us in our goals to make the server free of rulebreakers. Take things into your own hands, you'd be surprised what a difference it makes. In a sense, regular players are just as vital to the process of cleaning the servers from rulebreakers as mods are.
If you find yourself recording 'too many hackers too often', then give yourself a break and let someone else record them. Eventually it'll happen.
