Players hacking to be able to go super speed to the spawn chests?

I have noticed that, sometimes, a player next to me goes super fast, it looks like tele-porting, to the spawn chests when the game starts. I can't tell if this may just be lag or what, but they end up getting there a good few seconds before anyone else on the same side going for those chests. Anyone else seen this?

Even if it was, how would this make them be able to get to the chests quicker than any other player? Surely lag would slow you down and freeze you, meaning you would be one of the last to get there? I mean we are all sprinting and holding jump going the full speed and most recently was a game where I happened to be on a good pedestal that was directly in a straight line with a chest.

This has happened to me before when I got to corn before everyone else. I was like "WOW I must be in a game full of nubs."

But I'm pretty sure it's lag, just try to go to a different chest than the speedy person went to.

Speed hacks would likely be prevented by the No-Cheat plugin, so it's probably lag.

i do belive this is not an issue with lag, try and record them a report it to a server staff member

It's probably a hacker, but I remember this one time I experienced a glitch where I started running to corn when the game started but I ended up getting teleported right to the chest before everyone else got there. Not sure why it happened, it was on SG4.

There are rarely any sprint-hackers and I do think that it's a glitch involving the plugins that MCSG uses. If you do think they are using any sort of hacks then you may record and report them here: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/forums/Report/
