Possible Problems - TS impersonations

I would like to preface this thread by providing a little background on my personal history with this problem...

3 days ago, my "friend" stated that he would "get me banned", but I thought that he way joking around. Much to to my dismay, I later logged on to MCSG to find that I had indeed been banned, for "admitting to hacking". I later found out that my "friend" had been impersonating me on the TS for 2 whole weeks.

Now for the average person, the threat is fairly real. If they are never really on the Mcsg team speak, then the mods have no idea what they sound like. Anyone could pretend to be that person.

However, for the more active/famous members, this isn't a problem. People will just know what they sound like. But I just want to bring this problem to light, as I do not want anyone else to fall victim to such a stupid action.

Big thanks to CaptainJS, who was able to skype with this "friend" and get him to admit, all recorded of course.

Wow,t hats terrible. Just today a group of people joined my channel with the name gravey4rd and toxicwasteII, and tried to act like they were them. It was obvious it was fake because a bunch of other people joined exactly at the same time to say "woah is that gravey4rd" and they only typed so we couldn't hear their voices. Anyway, back on point, if I were you I wouldn't have friends that would do Good like that.

Lol, hate impersonaters. I once decided to give SkyDoesMinecraft's server a try, and literally
every other chat message was someone futilely attempting to pretend they were sky. They
were all SO obviously fake it was painful to watch. To say the least, I don't play there much .
