how do i stop lag? I have a great gaming PC.
I have optifine.
I changed it so that minecraft runs 4gb
I've looked at so many videos. nothing helped.
I cannot play.
Please help.

We need more information. Is it FPS lag (slow performance) or connection lag (High ping, unresponsive server activity)?

It's fps lag. it pauses every few seconds. It lags so much i can't sprint to cornucopia

Have you tried to reinstall minecraft and check your video settings? Could be something there not right.

ITS JAVA. I HAD THIS PROBLEM. If you have a 64 bit computer make sure you have 64 bit java. And if u have a 32 bit computer make sure you have 32 bit java. Just check your java bit thingy (xD) in your computer properties.
