The competitiveness of MCSG

I haven't been playing MCSG for all that long. I'm pretty new compared to a lot of players. But even I can tell that the competitiveness has shot up insanely. A while back, it was pretty rare (At least for me) to see a player with 1,000 wins out of 3,000 games or better. Now I see at least 3 or 4 of those players in each lobby, at least. There might be some responses to this thread saying that I'm just bad, but I consider myself a decent PvPer and I am not winning as many games as I used to. I'm not sure if it's just hackers, but I can usually tell the difference between a hacker and a skilled player, so unless hacks have gotten really hard to distinguish from skill, then there is A LOT of better players. It's starting to get annoying, I'm not a bad player, but imagine having 10 Huahwi's in every game you play. (Exxagerating) Even if you are a skilled PvPer, if half the people on the map are insanely good PvPers, even if you are good there's not much you can do. You're probably going to meet at least 3-4 of them and chances are you're not going to get through all of them. Don't even get me started on the teams of 4+ people with 1/2 win percentages, it's frikin annoying. Has anyone else noticed this? I can't enjoy games as much any more because almost every single person I meet is insanely good at PvP. Noobs die off quick, and by the time the clock hits 25:00 everyone left is a top tier player. Please leave your thoughts below and tell me if you have noticed this as well.

Yeah I've noticed, but I don't really understand the point of the thread (?) To say that some people are awesome at mcsg?

I mean we all already know I'm epic and a complete boss at pvp we don't need a thread dedicated to it : p

That's what happens when you stick my craptop and I in the same lobby as a bunch of fourteen-year-olds whose parents bought them super machines. You play, you die, you rage. They play, they win, they brag. They brag, you rage, you're banned. Say bye bye....unless you're me and impossible to ever permanently get rid of.

The community is very, VERY, competetive, because of all the hackers, and people saying 'ez', 'rekt', stuff like that. It makes people angry, ans they will probably tryhard the next game, and become competitive like that, but here is my advice: Don't let the game to get in your head, and by that I mean that don't get mad about it, it is just a game and games are for fun.

I got to admit, sometimes I want to just scream because of the people playing this, for example, I played a game of Holiday Resort, and I chased this guy for a good 15 minutes and he was low and running away, calling me a hacker.. Then he turned back and spammed his FnS and killed me and said 'ez' I mean what the f*** man?! You were one heart that was far from easy! That is probably the most pissed I have been about this game, and I reported the guy straight away for lols :--D not saying any names, but he was an experienced donor.

But back on the topic, I play this game for fun and mostly laugh at my deaths and mistakes, because when you die, you know you made a mistake.

I would say more good players due to the longer MCSG goes on ,the more people have more wins so bound to see lots of people with lots of wins.

It just frustrates me now when I see a famous youtuber show off some route or some strategy that I always use and wasn't that well known. Now, most of my routes are completely populated by nubs (not real nubs jking) that try to use fancy strats and stuff.

It's as if I worked hard to develop and find out new things over the course of several months, and they just did it by watching a five minute youtube video. : /

I'm not complaining, I'm describing what's happening, then asking people if they have noticed this a lot as well. What do you think I'm doing, suggesting we ban everyone with over 100 wins?

Famous Youtubers in Minecraft are CaptainSparklez, SkyDoesMinecraft, AntVenom, et cetera. MCSG Youtubers, with the exception of Graser due to his 100k subscriber count (and that's iffy at best since some of those may be bots and/or alts) are not "famous." Tomahawk, Huahwi, Grape, and Lovelights may be communal celebrities, but they most certainly are not famous by Youtube's or the world's standards.

I honestly don't know why this is a thread. Take it from a popular v1 player it was very competitive back then and it always will be, pvp will continue to evolve and different mechanics will come and go, you will just have to keep up and learn what it takes to win as the game as it changes itself.
