So I haven't been on these forums too terribly long (Unless you consider a day terribly long... We all have those long days :( ) but I've already come across quite a few posts and comments "dissing" both members of the staff and senior staff alike and for the life of me I can't figure it out. Quite a few members seem to think that "Mods" are really just obnoxious players who only want the rank for the red name tag, but this simply isn't the case. Coming from a chain that had the community strongly in-touch with the staff, I can tell you that the staff actually have to do quite a bit of work: especially the senior staff.

I saw a thread not too long ago that showed a video of people who were saying incredibly rude comments about an Admin, I didn't even watch the whole thing but just by looking at the run-time I knew it was nothing good to watch all the way through. No administrator of a server this size just "snuck through the cracks", they worked hard and devoted countless hours and long nights to get into the position that they're currently in. They do so much more work than people seem to credit them for. I'm not going to say every staff member is perfect (Because, and there's no denying, every server has a mod or two who aren't of top-notch quality) but it's not fair to label them all as "useless" and "never working.

So to the staff, thank you for all the work and please don't let any voices tear you down, because some people simply can't appreciate the work, but those that know the true capabilities of the staff know how much work you guys have done. Anyway, I'll still continue to browse the forums and try and interact with this community as, for the most part, it seems very respectable and I'll be curious to see how it morphs over time! Happy foruming everyone! :D

Well said. If I become a mod some day I would want people to respect my position.
