A certain Trap in SG 4

Ok, so there is this trap on the Survival Games 4 map that I don't get how to work. At the end of a road, there's a 1x1 chest surrounded by gravel. Sometimes when I go by, it's a chest above a pit of lava and cobwebs. I tried breaking the gravel to cause a block update, but it didn't work. How do I activate this trap?

I use flint and steel to set it ablaze.
That will work.

To activate the trap: Stand on the chests then wait Near a minute

never saw it but i know on wich one you mean but it never hPpned to me or saw it activated

You shoulda seen brodina's epic kill using this trap. He was being chased by 2 guys, ran through here, put down a cake, and his pursuers who had much better gear then him fell to their slow miserable deaths

If you go past it up near the dome, there's a button on one of the trees, but it's hard to see the trap, so it's a pretty inconvenient place. :L
