Okay. So I was thinking. People with a great computer tend to be good at FPS games. But, some of them are still pretty bad. I wanted to know what your average frame rate is, and do you think it effects your PvP. I get a steady 90-120 FPS. Sometimes though, I'll get bad FPS like 20-45. I think it effects my PvP. So I want to know what you guys think.

I think it is really what you are used to, some people can be gods with 20 fps while others can be bad with 100 fps

It will make you lag. To get a good steady gameplay, I think the minimum is 60 fps.

Yeah, I mean, take my brother for example. He's pretty ok with about 300 wins and he gets 15-20 usually. But I think if you give someone who's good no matter what, a god computer, it would change a lot.

I can clearly tell the difference between 30fps and 60... 60 and 100 even..
That just means you are used to a good computer right? I have played with all if these different fps and since I'm used to average fps (40) I can't tell a difference between anything above that. The only thing that bothers me the most is when someone says "gosh my fps lag is really bad, I'm only getting 80+ fps"

Cough cough, QuantumTiger, one of the best PvP'ers ever was, ran around 30 fps, hive and mcsg player around 2500 wins combined. No FPS does not define skill level. People adjust to the way they have to play.

I can't pvp on less than 60. I've had this computer for a long time and am used to about 500, but I noticed no difference between 150 and 500. I can be at my best when I have at least 120.
