Misplaced Glitch?/ Ties?

Me and my brother where playing the other night and when it came time for the deathmatch, I tried to kill him like normal, but now instead of usaual attacking or running, his guy ran away straight through water. After looking at his screen and at mine, I saw that the opposite player was not correctly positioned for either of us. Is this normal since the lag glitch?
The other glitch is that of tying. Is it possible? After the previous said fight, it said the games where now over without either of us dying. What's with that?
If you see an attached file, it's of a fight we lost because the guy kept looking like he was flying.

If I remember right, you can attack beneath the flying person and hit him. Yes, you can get ties. Look at slasherxtreme's signature

That's pretty much all lag, it should be fixed soonish.

Yeah this problem has been happening for a week or so now. No, it is not normal for this to happen and is caused by huge lag spikes at the start of DM or the start of the game. The cause is unknown at the moment so it might take a bit of time for designers to fix the problem. In the mean time try to use it to your advantage.

Oh, and i had a tie also once this week. It kind of sucked.

Regarding the tie. It didn't say "This time, there is no winner." I just said "The survival games are over."

Unfortunately the misplaced glitch is a little...odd. I haven't the slightest idea what may be causing it, all I know is that it's happened since 1.4.4 came out, if not earlier.
I was requested to put in something to fix this for each individual player, try typing /gf in game when this happens.

Tried it yesterday, it didn't help for either me or the guy I was fighting. :/

Well it successfully teleports me to myself... other than that it's a bust
