I mean, I'm on a laptop, but it's 2-3 years old. How can that compare to a good computer?

Because I have to use all those programs to make my FPS faster, and I have to keep on updating my drivers to make it fast as well.

yes but as you have good fps the fact that you're on a laptop shouldn't matter

It does effect it slightly, because most laptops supposedly don't have much power compared to desktops.

I mean, my mum let me play on her work computer because the laptop wasn't working, and because it was an amazing computer, I didn't need to use any programs to help make it run faster, and it already had 200 FPS on far render distance because of how much power it has.

well mine is 20 tops on tiny so yh mine really sucks... i average maybe 10 fps and when chunks are loading i really lag a lot... and on tiny chunks have to be loaded quite often

Well I have 120 FPS on Render Distance Far/Extreme and 60 FPS On Maximized
