To start things off, I'm not sure if this is the right section to put this in. But I am in the market for a budget pc oriented towards gaming. I am new to building computers and wondered if you guys had some parts to make up a PC with a budget of $500 U.S.
Must haves:
-Run Minecraft at at least 70+ fps
-Be able to record HD video without much lag.
-Be able to be upgraded.

If you took some time to help me out that would be awesome! :D

You'll always be able to upgrade your PC later on, so you won't have to worry about that. Anyway, if you want a decent gaming PC and considering you also need to buy the OS ( +- 100$ ) I'd suggest you to save up till atleast 700$.

Do you need a monitor? OS? Keyboard? Mouse? be more descriptive :)
Just the actual computer. I have a monitor and peripherals.

I have about $250 in amazon gift cards so I can buy the os there.

Bad CPU, bad mobo, slow hdd, bad gpu, 430w is bad. you don't really need a dvd drive.

I used a usb drive,
Depends on how you get your OS, most people download it, or purchase a disc in the store. Anyway, an optical drive is only 15$ I would always put one in for just that moment you realise you only got a disc version of something ;)
