Hacker Accusations

Hi MCGamer players,

I am just getting really frustrated by people calling me a hacker... Just because I killed them. This is happening too many times as there are a lot of new players joining MCSG. My ping isn't even that great it's always above a 100, so mostly it's newbies who say this. The last straw was when I joined a game, and a player said, "OMG PapayaCheese hacker". Then half the lobby started calling me a hacker. Could MCSG implement something where you could just get kicked for randomly calling people hackers? Give them a message saying if you believe someone's hacking please file an abuse report. Do not take this the wrong way, I am not an amazing player. I'm decent or average. But these accusations scare me because I love to play MCSG and I do not want to be banned by these false accusations.

I know Roxbot had a filter that changed to the "hacker" to some other word, but most of the players found a way around it, putting "hecker" or "h@cker" instead of the actual word.
I'm not too sure whether implementing something that would kick off people accusing others of hacks would work out too well, because sometimes it could be an innocent player telling a mod that there's a hacker in a lobby or someone warning someone else of a hacker in the game with aimbot or forcefield.

People call me hacker too... As you said , only for kill them. Don't worry , if they call you hacker and you don't hack is because you are very pro xD

Take it as a compliment. You won't be banned unless there is sufficient evidence that you are hacking, such as a video which clearly shows that you are hacking.

People make hackusations because they are annoyed they got killed. You could basically view it as a compliment because they think you are so good that it must be hacks that killed them, which it isn't :3

I get called out for hacks very often, even as mod. It's kind of sad, honestly. I'll then type something in chat showing the accusers that I'm a moderator and they'll go straight to "Oh, you must just have good ping."

It's really annoying because nobody recognizes skill anymore :/

Regarding your suggestion, hackusating is a punishable offense, and users found hackusating will be asked to stop by a moderator. Putting a filter will simply lead to people avoiding it, but it could possibly still help a little c:

Good suggestion, it's nice to see people who want to take steps to improve the community.

Oh I've been banned several times for things that look like hacks while I'm not even hacking..

No one even has a clue what hacks look like, If you die from someone they automatically "hack" Ive heard even people with 1000+ wins hackusate, it's pretty sad
