I've ran for 10 minutes once (literally) and then they finally left me alone for corn, two minutes after the refill already happened. (I had no armor on, wasn't holding a diamond or anything, they just wanted my points.)
I then proceeded to craft an iron sword, put on my iron armor I had, head to corn and kill him. I won that game. (I had more stuff the entire time, I just needed time to craft.)


Pro tip: Everyone is going to run indefinitely. They will never "give up". If you cannot catch up to them and they don't have stuff worth chasing them all game for, then don't bother...you can get much better stuff/chests by leaving them alone. Honestly, what annoys me is the people that chase me until the end of time, not the people who run.

This has happened to me too. Later after I killed the person chasing me I think to myself: He should've kept chasing me.

I was chased for 5 min by a guy that only had chainmail pants and a stone axe whilst i had absolutly nothing, He new i had nothing because he chased me straight from corn, so he chased me across the hole map sg4 i think took a bunch of falldamage didnt get any chests and ran out of hunger but he managed to kill me. Because he wasted this time chasing me he stood no chance against the guy behind him with full iron and a diamond sword. He only chased me because i was a mod now that really annoyed me lol.
