How do I become a higher rank without donating?

You could always participate in the Lobby design competition, and have a chance at winning donation ranks, without donating. There's also applying for Moderator that doesn't require donating. There's also V.I.P which is handed out by ChadTheDJ. (The Owner) Asking wont deem a promotion to such rank; he decides when/who he wishes to promote to V.I.P (Very Important Person.

Nope, that's a donation feature, once you buy Iron, Gold, or Diamond. It also comes with Moderator.

What Jetscat said may confuse some people. Donators do NOT get to directly kick people. If a game is full, they can join and kick the last person to join the game. If it's a live game, it's a spectator that gets kicked, not a tribute.

There are two ranks you can get without donating:

People with high points can't kick, it just seems like it because most people who donate are really good.

Yeah, I've no idea. But it would be very hard to get the Developer rank, so I'm not sure if it's any use giving information about it unless you're an excellent coder. You also need to be 18+.
